Ambassador Request and Opportunity Form

Thank you for taking the time to request Ambassadors for your event or offer a professional development opportunity for Ambassadors. Once your form is submitted, a member of the Student Engagement and Equity (SEE) team will be in touch to discuss your request. Any questions can be directed to ambassadors@ontariotechu.ca.

Requesting Ambassadors as volunteers means that your department has an opportunity for students to actively contribute, engage with others, and apply their learning in real-world contexts through volunteering for an event. (e.g. acting as a tour guide at Open House).

A Professional Development for Ambassadors is a developmental course, session, group, etc. run by your department that can be a good learning opportunity for Ambassadors to attend. (e.g. Mental Health First Aid).

To be considered an eligible opportunity for Ambassador to volunteer at your event, opportunities should meet at least two of the following criteria:

- Support the development of self-awareness and a deeper understanding of personal values.

- Strengthen foundational communication skills.

- Provide opportunities to facilitate or lead activities.

- Encourage collaborative teamwork and communication.

- Engage with topics related to equity and inclusion.

- Involve leadership of teams, initiatives, or programs.
