Deadline to Submit: January 31, 2026 Ontario Tech University is strongly committed to student success, recognizing that students come from diverse backgrounds and tailors academic support to meet these needs. The Perseverance Pathway pathway addresses gaps that may exist due to systemic and individual circumstances and the efforts of RPN’s who have persevered in their attempts to enter a RPN to BScN program. By providing an alternative approach, students can reach their potential and enter the Registered Nurse profession. This competitive process is designed to support a select group of students who have applied unsuccessfully two consecutive years to the RPN to BScN Program. These students have previously maximized their GPA through the upgrading process (merit points) and are unable to meet the academic threshold. These applicants are given individual consideration through this process. We invite potential applicants to complete this form in an effort to consider their application more holistically, based on other characteristics beyond academic criteria. Circumstances beyond the student’s control may have precluded them from achieving the academic standing required for admission to this program. Your responses below will be reviewed by the Faculty of Health Sciences and ranked according to the following rubric.
