Upgrading form

If your average has dropped below the minimum admission requirements, or if you are missing a program prerequisite, we may allow you to upgrade. A number of upgrading options are available, including courses offered through your local school board, night school, e-learning and adult education centres. You must make sure the credit you are taking is at the 4U or M level, and the institution offering the course is accredited.

The following deadlines are for applicants currently attending an Ontario secondary school. All other applicants should visit their applicant type page for important dates and deadlines

Please note: You are required to submit proof of enrolment in the course(s) to the Registrar's office by July 10, 2026 by filling out and submitting the form below. Upon completion of the course(s), the final grade(s) must be received by the Registrar's office no later than August 14, 2026. Upgrading courses that cannot be sent through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre, must be emailed directly from the high school, upgrading centre or school board to admissions@ontariotechu.ca. Student-issued transcripts will not be accepted. Summer upgrading marks (completed after June 30) are not accepted for competitive programs (Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science).

We only accept documents in the format of .pdf, .jpg.
