Late Application for Graduation

Use this application if you missed the deadline to apply online through your MyOntarioTech account. Be advised there is a mandatory $50 fee for late applications. The online application windows are:

6 week Spring Semester: June 10 to July 23
Summer semester: July 22 to August 10
Fall semester: November 30 to December 31
Winter semester: January 31 to February 28

The Convocation website will be updated as ceremony details become available.

Plans to attend ceremony:

Eligible graduating students will be sent an email prior to the Convocation ceremony with instructions on how to register to attend. At that time, you will be required to register for Convocation and pre-order your gown.
Not planning to attend ceremony:

If you do not plan to attend the Convocation ceremony and you are eligible to graduate, your degree will be granted in absentia. After the convocation ceremony, you will be able to pick up your degree at the Office of the Registrar, or request to have it mailed to you by completing the Parchment to be Couriered form once parchments are available.

Your name will appear on your degree parchment as indicated on your academic record. Middle initials will appear as follows: Ex. Sample A. Student

If you wish to make any of the following changes, please visit the following link to submit a Change of Name request:
- Remove or add middle name
- Make legal change to first or last name
Payment

A $50 non-refundable administrative fee will be placed on your account when your application is processed. It is your responsibility to pay this fee immediately. Please visit our payment options website for your payment options.

If you do not pay this fee, a hold will be placed on your account and you will not be able to receive your degree parchment until this fee is paid.
