Complete this form to request a change from international to domestic fees status.

If you are a new student, you must have accepted your offer and paid your deposit before submitting this request.

You must meet the eligibility requirements for domestic fees in order for your request to be approved.

This form must be submitted by the posted deadlines for the semester in which you are applying for a change in fee status.

Important Note: Obtaining domestic tuition fee status does not exempt students from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) requirements. A valid study permit may still be necessary for the duration of your studies. Students are responsible for ensuring compliance with IRCC regulations. For more information, refer to the IRCC website section on “People who are exempt from study permit conditions requirements”

Do you still require University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) coverage?

If yes, you must inform uhip@ontariotechu.ca each academic year to reinstate your coverage as this is not an automatic process.

Note: If you do not have Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) coverage yet, you must select Yes. Once you do obtain OHIP please email uhip@ontariotechu.ca to terminate your UHIP coverage.
If you no longer require UHIP coverage, please provide proof of Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) coverage.
