Request to Withdraw

Use this form if you are an undergraduate student seeking a full withdrawal from the university. If you are attempting to withdraw from classes for the current semester only, please contact connect@ontariotechu.ca.

This form can only be submitted during the deadlines outlined in the Important Dates section of the Academic Calendar. If this is a request to withdraw beyond the deadlines, or for a past semester, the Consideration for Late Withdrawal form must be submitted instead. Note: Only those students with extenuating circumstances beyond their control and with approved supporting documentation will be accepted for review.

The length of time for withdrawals to be processed is normally one to two weeks. Processing time will be longer during peak periods and if you choose to meet with an advisor. Any applicable refund will be automatically processed.

Please note: Graduate level students must fill out the Graduate Studies - Request for Program Withdrawal form instead.

Depending on the dates and your personal situation, withdrawal from the university may impact your OSAP assessment.
